Boat Building Engineering Challenge

Participants worked in teams to construct sea-worthy ships under time and material constraints similar to those faced by engineers everyday.

Attendees were introduced to the world of magnets through exciting hands-on activities that demonstrated the basic properties of magnetism and magnetic fields.

Colorful Chemistry

Students used common household ingredients to explore the fundamentals of molecular interactions and surface tension.

Scientists and engineers representing a wide range of fields answered students' questions and shared their personal education and career experiences.
